Posts: 103  | i did this but i still cant connect sometimes. i used to connect to my friends and now i dont since i got my new router then i trie to not use it and just use the modem like i have before and it says strict when i do that so idk what to do im lost... | |||||

Posts: 103 | now i enabled dmz host on the ip 192.168.0.100 and i forwarded the ports 88 and 3074 and i set a static ip address 192.168.0.100 for my 360 and it still says strict... i am really not happy with this router btw its a dlink wbr-2310 router i know its not compatable but when you open the ports it should. i dont know what to do my $500 system lost almost all its value since i can play online Last edited by Botlerocket; 04-12-2008 at 03:27 PM.. | |||||

Posts: 15  | Hey, this is related...my NAT is open, my connection is fine, everything seemingly works. I've also done port forwarding, and have tried a static ip, and my router IS compatible with xbox live. So why can I talk to my friends, but I can't connect to Halo or any games? Any ideas?

Posts: 1,387 | I've done everything in this tutorial but the only difference was the it went from "strict" to "moderate" and now it wont change at all. I have a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband (model: WRT45GL) on xbox.com it said this router was XBL compatible... Help please, IM me or PM an answer. AIM: UnrealAssassinX
