I actually doesnt grab it, but I seen it.
I want that you guys find it by yourself.

The Theory is right that you have to jump THROUGH the Rings in a certain order.
there are the rings:

Alpha =1
Beta =2
Gamma =3
Delta =4
Epsilon =5
Zeta =7

So 7 rings.
Now the Script of Halo 3:

haloring_zeta
haloring_gamma
haloring_delta
haloring_alpha
haloring_eta
haloring_epsilon
haloring_beta

7 rings.
But "eta" means 8.
On top of the Halos are greek symbols.
Bungie changed something in the order.
Eta, 7th Symbol, its numeric Value is 8.
Zeta, 6th Symbol but the numeric Value is 7

If you hear a weird sound, you did the right an the Skull will be right in front of you

Has anyone thought about the greek numbers? Maybe it has something to do with the order.

zeta=7
gamma=3

also this:
°objects\weapons\multiplayer\ball\s econdary_skull.weapon

made me think, maybe you have to have the thunderstorm skull in your hands, when you jump through the rings hence the skull.weapon, even though techincally you would think the iwhbyd skull would be the secondary since its silver.

Or maybe the symbols stand for Letters and you have to pick the right ones in order standing for I W H B Y and D.
Or maybe each symbol stands for a number from the greek alphabet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 and you have to do the same thing as the letter theory.


also on another thread I saw something about the rings having different tones when you jump through, and different symbols, almost like letters from another language, at the tops of them, and that you may have to play the halo theme with them. This is my best theory, derived from the one above about the notes. I don't know if anyone else thought of it:

Was there a different song that played when you picked up the iwhbyd skull on Halo 2?
Or during the battle against the elites?
Cause "°skull_ring_song" and "°award daddy skull". I was thinking, since the rings play different tones, maybe you have to play a certain song that pertains to the skull, like a special song made for it.

Skull Location:

The IWHBYD Skull has been found! After countless hours from the Halo3Planet Community, we finally present you with the location of the final skull, the IWHBYD Skull!

The Skull is located in the level, “The Covenant”. After defeating the Scarabs, and going inside, get to the location with all 7 Ring Holograms. You must jump through the rings in a specific order. That order is as follows:

4 5 6 5 7 6 5 4 1 2 3 2 7 2 1 1 3 4 6 7 5 4 6 5 4 5 3 4

These rings also produce the notes:

E F# G F# A G F# E B C# D C# A C# B B D E G A F# E G F# E F# D E

After jumping through them in this sequence, you will be awarded the “I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull”. It will be right next to the bridge that brings you over to the Prophet of Truth.
