maybe something like the Tony Hawk series map editor? with buildings, bridges and different settings and backgrounds like how lockout is high above ground... idk maybe somethig like that

if u edit bungie's maps, i hope it will say though before the game, where it says map, modified (name of map) so people know.

If that's the case, you could edit over places in the maps to get rid of glitches, or make windows to stop people from camping in certain spots, etc. It'd be great.

I seriously dought we'll be able to create maps from scratch, that kind of detail needs to be done on a PC. But maybe changing weapon spawns & flag placings & things like that. or minor changes to weapons even..we'll find out in a few months...or the September release of EGM.

YES! I KNEW they would include a map editor.

All the evidence so far points to it. They actually released a beta? If we had known that while waiting for the Halo 2 release, we would have PEED our PANTS. They're giving us all these glimpses to what the game will be, and it's proving pretty awesome. They released those two new maps for Halo 2? They're reaching out to the true fans now and thanking them. A map editor is the best way to do that.
