I agree, a game is a game. If you want it realistic, why dont bungie, make into a virtual game with a suit of armour and all. And if you die there is no respawns. If you want realism go to the army, folks.

Actually I have to disagree. What makes good games is realism. Wonder why people think Halo 1 > Halo 2? Can you RRX, BXR, and BXB in the real world? Now I'm not saying that games aren't games and not movies or w/e

I'm jst saying the best games have realism. Halo 2 was the best game of all time for the xbox until GoW came out with full realism and other titles in the same boat as well. My opinion of course. You are free to disagree with me at anytime

Yes. I agree. Let things in life stay in life and things in games in games. But Some things in games just need to be added or taken out.

I totally agree with you.

I have a friend that whenever he comes over and we all play Halo, he never plays. He says the shileds are unrealistic and that it's impossible for someone to snipe a player when he's jumping. But that's what makes Halo, Halo. It's not another WWII game thats walking around the map and killing someone with two shots before they know you're there. Halo is more arcade-y and I like it for that.

Lol are you kidding me? Gears of War isnt realistic at all it has a 3rd person point of view . That automatically makes GoW unrealistic. And ya i'd like to see you dive 10 feet in rl when your standing still. Just flail your arms out when someone walks toward you with a chainsaw. Good try pulling that Realism bulls**t. Realism is not why GoW whas a good game. But I still respect your opinion

I say in my opinion Halo 3 will be one of the last great Death match games created. Death match games are being made less and less common due to the recent success of "realistic" and round based games. The reason why is simple. balancing issues can make or break a game. With round-based games it is easier and more often the developers are able to balance out the game. With Death match games and "unrealistic" games it is much harder to balance out because of all the variables but a Great Deathmatch will always be more fun and popular than its "realistic" and round based strategie games. (The one exception is Counterstrike)
