ok, i thought that was rather good..

gameplay: pretty fkn good, some shaweet 1v1 clips, fall of at br towa and the one at s1 had me go *ooo*. some shaweet doubleshots for clutch tacs and trips. also the stick trips and tacks wer great, the one on the ball in br1 say wut
gp was very solid

music choice made the editing hard on this imo, first song was... pretty plain i guess and didnt have many points where rythm changed etc which helps editing.

second song was a great improvement and also editing followed on that.

credits had me tearing up and also some SICk snipes in there, the masterchief headbubbing was just ROFL material.

overal very solid im savin to hd.

I saw this announced last night 14 minutes after Z posted it, and there were already 2 pages worth of comments. You guys are unbelievably lame.


Anyway, there's no denying that this is a quality montage. Game play was certainly at least a step above average. I appreciated that there wasn't a lot of fancy stuff like launch spawn sticks, just really pretty snipes, team tacs, and frenzies + in ffa.

Editing was very consistent throughout. It didn't go crazy in the first minute and then have nothing else at all good for the next 9. Clips didn't need any obscuring because they were all solid the way they were. Editing definitely did a good job enhancing.

That said, I thought that it was way too long. I can understand saving every one of those clips because I'd be so pleased with myself to get any of them...I can't really remember a weak spot in the game play at all...but I got a little bored by the time the second song rolled around. You didn't really need to put in all those snipes or that killtac on burial mounds...credits were funny but also too long.

Some variations in editing might have helped spice things up a little. I liked the masking after the triple no scope (guy fell across the screen). I don't need bright lights to be shining out at me every second, but some fancy stuff wouldn't hurt.

Maybe I'm just impatient today because I have a few hours until an exam. I really did think the game play and the editing were both of a high order. I also don't usually enjoy much h2 stuff anymore. I do believe I would have enjoyed this a bit more if it had been broken up into a few smaller videos, though.

In NYC for the summer...really looking for some LAN time

I enjoyed this montage a lot. I sort of got into the pattern of your double shots for killtacs. The gameplay was especially good, but whenever I watch Halo 2 I keep getting distracted about hitboxes. From the chest up was a solid headshot, that's just odd compared to H3.
