This is the first official announcement on the December Montage Contest. This will answer most of the questions that all of you have. Instead of making you read my boring thread, I'll just make this a simple FAQ thread.

How do I enter my montage?

• Your montage MUST be hosted/sponsored by Halo2Forum.com. This is a contest for H2F members ONLY, so if you're planning on making montage for this contest & it's hosted elsewhere, forget it.
  • And NO, you can't have your montage hosted on a different site and give us the same montage with our credits as the H2F version. If it's not hosted by us and US ONLY, sorry, tell that other host to make a montage contest and give a 360

When will you start accepting montages?

• I will start accepting montages from November 5th to Nov. 30th. You have to submit your montage on AIM: ZEE10101
  
  
  
  
• If the montage is already hosted, then no need to send the montage again on AIM, you just have to give the link to the montage in the video section.

What should I include in my montage? Any recommendation?

• These are the types of montages that will get more votes:
  • Hi-Res > Lo-Res montages
  • MLG+MM > only MM montages
  • Music Sync > non synced
  • Video Effects > Non effects (be careful, don't overedit it)
  • 4-5:30 mins is the best time frame for montages
  • Try not to have too many single kill clips

What else will increase my chance of winning?

• Based on previous experiences, normally, people vote because the maker of the montage is part of the forum and is active. Even though your montage might be better than others, the other guy might win just because people like him more. I suggest you try to be mature on the forum and remain a little active, trust me, will make a BIG difference!

When will votings begin and end?

• Votings being December 1st and will end around Dec. 20th

Can anyone just sign up and vote?

• No, we will have a strict voting so that only active members can vote. And no, I'm not telling you how many posts or when you have to join to be able to vote. All I can say now is, show up on H2F few times a week and post a little.

How many montages will be entered

• 10, 20, 50, 100, who knows, this all depends on how many GOOD montages are submitted

What do I get if my montage wins?

• $400 cash. We have not decided if 2nd and 3rd place winners will get anything.

Wow you guys are so retarded, this is going to be a ban fest. Anyways, my question is what if you have your montage hosted on another site and this one, and you have 2 different versions of it, one with a sponsored by h2f intro and another with a different intro?
