yea, so i have an xps m1530 laptop.

4 gigs ram
2.17 Ghz proccesor
some video card thats nVIDEA. It gets a 6 on the performance tester. (which is good)
I recently updated from home edition to ultimate, but even before the update it still crashes.

At random times the game will just crash. it might take anywhere from :20 seconds to 5 five minutes.

The game runs ultra smooth on my computer.

ANOTHER PROBLEM :
after i upgraded I noticed that 500mbs of my RAM was missing...
Everytime start my computer it says that the drivers for my biometric processor are missing or corrupt.

Yes, i re-installed ALL the drivers too.

Any help?

Well, probably it isnt hardware-related, the reason u are missing 512 MB RAM is because u are probably using a 32-bit (x86) version of Vista, which only supports up to 3,5 GB of RAM, either upgrade to an 64-BIT (x64) version , which supports I think up to 16 TERAByte of RAM. Or dont bother about the 512 MB.
Here are some things u have to try before sending it in:
1: Did u install all drivers required? Not only for the videocard but also for the processor and such.
2: Try re-installing Halo 2 PC, with administrative privileges.
3: If that doesn't work, re-install Windows Vista.
4: Try these tips!
