Fraps Problem?

Ok when i play h2v i get about 50-70fps on High when i record it goes down to 18fps can someone please help me with this issue ive been trying to figure it out for 5 weeks please help me

That happens to me too, but if I record for about a 5 seconds, the fps goes back up, of course, im using the trial version...

My computer isn't great at all either, but I can still record 50 fps on full. Try reducing your resolution?

isn't great and record @ 50 FPS it's a good pc...

Ok here are the Specs

Nvidia 8400GS - 512 edition
Intel Pentium 4 3.06hz
2GB of Ram
Realtek HD Audio

is there anything else im missing?

A pentium anything is going to be terrible for anything in general.

What settings are you using on fraps, what resolution are you running?

For the harddrive, what model, how big is it, and how much free space is left?
