do you make/recover these gamertags in the game or can you make them before you get it?

You can do either. If your Xbox live account is linked to a Windows Live email, you just enter the Email into H2 and the password and it's set up.

Pretty simple.

alright thats cool. but does it actually recover it onto windows like an xbox gamertag to the 360 or can you use it on your 360 as well? or would you need to recover it back onto it.

Just link your 360 gamertag to a Windows live account. type your Live account info into H2V and it will use your Xbox gamertag.
