Posts: 547 | Wow now write one for the UK. It's so hard here, like 1 sponsored team in the whole of the UK...cos MLG won't interest large companies in the UK with no interest in America's market. So it has to be big international companies for us, which makes it harder still because they're so big. And as for the local event's what local events, there are only 3-4 event per year...which are far from local. Cost a good £150 in total (inc travel and accomodation) so thats what $300. You need a sponsor just to get to the only events.
