The way I see it is the reason MLG spawns you with carbine is because it's more efficient to spawn you with it. The reason being it avoids alot of spawn killing. Trust me, had MLG spawned you with BR's, their'd be alot more complaining going around about spawn killing. The carbine spawns very quietly, unlike the br which makes an extremely loud click, that's inevitable to mute out. You can try pushing the B button when you spawn, but when you do, you're killing a good second that you could use shooting somebody who's spawn killing you, plus, it doesn't help, the sound clicks before you spawn.
