It depends on whats going in the game. It depends on host, what weapons you have and whats your teamates are better at doing. Hardwood is good on XBL but on LAN, it can get a little crazy. You can get shot from anywhere on the map and it's kinda hard to hide back there. Sniper Spawn is better IMO because if you get all the big weapons up there (Sniper, Sword, Rockets, and Shotgun) it'll be very hard for the other team to kill you. Hardwood has too many places where you can enter that area so you could get killed from behind and lose a big weapon. But, it all depends on what the team wants to do and what they are good at doing. But, I strongly suggest not going on hardwood on LAN because of the distance people can shoot you from. Top Sniper has 3 ways to get up there. Shotgun Spawn, Overshield Spawn, and the lift. Put a sword guy on overshield ramp, rocket gun to guard shotgun side, shotgun guy to watch the lift and then have the sniper watch the middle. This is a hard strat to do because you need to be able to get all the weapons. But belive me, if you get all the weapons you have a great chance of winning. Just make sure you don't lose all those weapons or you will screwed. In the event you do lose those weapons, go back to hardwood andf try to get sniper and overshield sometime. Place the sniper on hardwood and try to get him a spot where he can snipe out the sword/rocket/sniper/shotgun guy. Take it one at a time and don't rush. Before of combo guy coming from overshield ramp and watch for people with SMG Plasma Rifle combo coming from the same area and shotgun side.

Yes, I know. I'm still working on it and I have a friend doing Sactuary (Sp?) for me because thats his favorite map. I will get the rest of midship done in a few minutes and I will be working on some of the matchmaking maps for the people that need team help in matchmaking. I use MLG and Matchmaking as a base when I make these. I try to use BR as the main example because when I play matchmaking, I tend to always use the BR because you can take out almost any weapon with it.

Haha yeah. It took me at least 5 hours to think about all this stuff and get it all typed. I'm still working on it though, I should have some of the matchmaking maps done soon so keep checking back!

Well first off, with this being by So Sick, and in light of all his wanna-be-mod efforts. I have to say this....This post is stickied in the wrong section. Should go under team hardcore/MLG section. I mean read the f..king introduction paragraph for Christ's sake!! Not to mention the FFA link you link to is MLG FFA, and there's also the fact you mention playing on LAN's. You don't play matchmaking on LANs. So this is in the wrong section...can we get a MOD to move this please?

Second, you should include illustrations for all these locations you talk about. Not that I need them in the least, but since you make the point this being for MLG noobs, it's kinda silly talking about all this locations without illustrations. I mean if you know where these spots are just by the name, then you probably don't need descriptions or ranks and definatly don't need pictures. But if you need these descriptions or ranks then you definately need pictures too.

And since you did mention this is for MLG noobs, you should rename the thread to identify this. Not to mention you should rename the thread without your name in it because that's pretty stupid since you're going to have most of it written by other people.

And this is one of the stupidest things in the thread:

Also your overall layout is pretty ugly. Bolded the title and centered it, then continued to just add no formating at all to your post. This should have been fixed before it got stickied. I mean you spent a week on this thing and it looks like this??

Other than those minor problems listed above. I think it's a decent post for complete MLG Noobs.

Congrats on this sticky. This is good. I am going to save it to my computer because even though I say I'm done with H2, I probably will come back and this info will be useful. I especially like the 1-10 rating system used.

Is there anything you DID like about his post Hw worked hard on this and you have a problem with everything.
