For some reason though, I feel like keeping the framerate locked on 30 fps (not recording) is much smoother than letting it be a jerky, inconsistent 50-60. Whenever i set it to no vsync, or vsync, I always end up changing it back to the locked on 30... idk
wut other options should i have enabled/disabled.. i run it 800 x 600. all other settings on high or "on".
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon x300. Its an okay card....
Thanks for the help |
Why would you change it back to 30 FPS locked? it need to be on VSYNC; Then you can get the max FPS out of your card. If you have any questions go talk to crest his a genious. Or 3so who has rediculous quality. But i meen looking at the quality of your gfx, you could turn some things down, particles on low, specular off, use lower shaders, and the gfx will still look good and you'll get better fps. Maybe try playing on 640x480 could get some better fps. iono i play on a mac, so im just guessing PC fx work similarly in halo.
