Gamecam/Fraps Issue?

Hey, for some reason when I record with Fraps, I get straight 60 fps, but when I record with Gamecam I can only get 20 FPS, and it is extremely laggy. Does anyone know how to fix this problem becasue I would like to record and have the text be readable, and Gamecam records teh text clearly, but for some reason Fraps makes the text fuzzy and unclear. So if someone knows how to make Fraps record clearer or fix my Gamecam FPS issues, please psot in this thread. Thanks.......................~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gamecam should record shiity quality, and Fraps should give excellent.

Try changing settings with Fraps?

Since your running Half size fraps is taking ever 4 pixels and trying to blend them into 1. This therefore lowers clarity. My solution. Record 640x480 fullsize.

Gamecam is a very unstable capturing program. Fraps since it deals with very low compression. There is little different between like Frame 20 and frame 60. Maybe a 1% difference in video compression. Since Gamecam is a much higher compression recorder and tries to keep low filesizes. It has the disadvantage of being highly Seseptable to very high levels of variability.

Therefore Record 640x480 fullsize don't use halfsize.

BAI BAI but when i record fullsize my FPS drops to like uh 30....and laggy poop!

btw my settings ar all on low 640x480 75HZ no spec no decals no particles everything else on low.....

Recording has nothing to do with the video card. It's all Processor, Ram and Harddrive.

if you can play sat 60fps 640x480 it's not the card.

Either clear text or good performance.
