XBC buddy...Halo 2 is a step down from Halo 1 because the game itself is so inconsistant.

...ok.

Then shouldn't they do better with aim assist in Halo 2?

Granted it is easier to get a kill, but that doesn't ruin the game. It is fun to play.

But I still love Halo 1. Never played as much as Halo 2, and until recently used to hate it, but it is a fun game.

Unless you have 2 box host abusing rockets. Times like those make Halo PC seem as though it is actually BETTER than Halo on Xbox.

So because it isn't H1 it isn't good?

You compare everything about the game to it's predecessor.

The game took off. Bungie's plan was to have people enjoy the game, not see how much skill it took to be good at something. They weren't aiming to push your gaming ability to the limit. They were aiming to please customers and sell the game.

I'm so tired of people complaining about H2 now. H3 is about to come out. Nothing is going to change, just stop ranting and complaining.

Halo 1 used to be played before Halo 2 came out at MLG Events, but once Halo 2 came out they stopped. Then they still played Halo 1 annually at MLG Philly, that was the only event that had Halo 1 even though Halo 2 was out. Once they couldn't find a venue for MLG Philly during the '06 season they didn't have Halo 1 at any other events. And that is the tragic story of how Halo 1 was not played at anymore MLG Events.

AMEN to the thread starter i TOTTALLY agree with you infact id rather play H1 on XBC then XBL just with voice chat like H2 has and thats the only good thing i see from H2, the reason that H2 is how it is is because the game was made for a WIDE range of people unlike H1 that was just made if you get me in retrospect H1 was a epic fail compared to H2 on sales/trade-ins

I would refer to this thread. Josh1337 does a good job explaining pretty much everything.

Scroll down to see the game type settings. If you plan on playing Halo on Xbox, 2v2 is how it's done. 4v4's are pretty much impossible unless all 4 boxes have 2 people. Which never happens.
