im glad they took out the plasma rifle stun. cause (when i could use XBC) i would be walking then get shot from behind with a PR and die from a simple melee that requires no skill when some1 is almost forced to stay still also i hated the shotgun in Halo1 cause if u had host u could almost lirteraly use it like a pistol, and if u where offhost it was like H2 host shotty

The development for Halo1 on the Xbox was about 9 months. I would rather have a company spend 10 months on a game then 9 months.

ehh he does have some points. but if u dont like h2 then dont play it. but i will agree with some of the points because a few days ago i played both h1 and h2 on LAN and i honestly prefer h1, but thats just my opinion. h2 isnt as bad as ur making it out to be but i certainly do think there are a lot of good things and bad things they added (possibly because it was rushed in the making). i think it all comes down to a person's personal preference.

3. I'm not trying to sound like the rest of these guys but, it was sort of needed for XBL. My feelings on this are nuetral tho.

4. Campaign sucked, had terrible replay value. Halo 1 has a BALLLIN campaign.

5. Even bungie will admit that they didn't have enough time. Microsoft is to blame I suppose.

6. Not really a problem for me to be honest... I just wish you didn't have soo mant grenades.

7. I truely wish that the power weapons were more challenging to use. I don't want anyone and their grandma to be able to snipe me without breaking a sweat!

8. Bungie admitted it was a bad idea because it was a dual-wieldable gun, not because it sucked. However, I do agree that the SMG was terrible for more reasons beyond the fact that it was a dual-wieldable gun!

9. I don't really have much to say about this to be honest. No comment.

10. I agree, the weapon is overpowered terribly. A decrease in range and a battery would be a good way for them to make it somewhat less powerfull yet it would still be a campers dream weapon.

11. I'm sure it is alot more usefull offline than it is online. This, along with some of your other problems with the game, are only cause through latency.

15. H1 PR > H2 PR --- Besides the slowing down thing, the gun hardly even hits and the reliability is slim.

16. It really can be easily dodged to be honest and the lack of ability to kill someone with single shots was a pretty cumb thing to remove but, I'm not really caring when it comes to this gun lol

17. It would have stopped superbouncing, however, I don't really feel like it was needed. I just sort of feel that it took away from the gameplay because it limited your options escape.

20. The community does suck but you can't bash the game for it's community.

Why post if you're not even contributing at all? Who cares how many threads he makes about Halo 2? If he makes good points then they deserve to be recognized and respected enough so that you give a decent counterpoint if you don't like it. f..king Children.

halo 1 is a much more of a classic game then halo 2, halo 2 is an addictive game filled with trash-talking, racists, and people who take it to seriously. I remember i played h1 with my friends for fun, never competitively, it was great and i had a much better time. In my opinion, halo 1 is a better game overall.

umm...wow you are the dumbest kid. Just because pro's say that sh.t you go and follow them completely. you are also the kid who plays h2 every day and complain about it. Just because H1 takes more skill and time to get good at doesn't mean its a better game at all. Soo...your dumb.

3. Cookie Cutters- Aim Assist, Auto-Aim, and Bullet Magnetism was enhanced for h2 players.

4. Campaign- Hooray.. I can play as a dinosaur and use a sentinal beam on the flood? No wai!

5. H2 was made in 10 months- Just enough time to disapoint bungie's true fans.

6. Grenades- Not only were grenades thrown shorter, but their fuses were both practically identical, which was very short.. Like the attention span of a h2 player. (zing)

7. Power Weapons- Sniper rifle, and rockets were made easier. Between the boost of cookie cutters (aim assist, bullet magnetism), the rockets had vehical lock-on, quicker rate of fire, while the sniper rifle was just easier period).

8. SMG- A new starting weapon over Assault Rifle was the dumbest idea ever. It failed in comparison, even bungie admits it was a bad idea.

9. Dual wielding- might as well disband the thought of there being a weapon balance in this game. Dual wielding, the birth of "Pray and Spray", the rock-paper-scissors of Halo 2.

10. Energy Sword- a camper's wet dream. Ridiculuos lunge range, and no ammo to boot!

11. Shotgun- making it utterly useless in an scenario but crouching around corners.
12. Needler, even dual wielded, it was useless.

13. Magnum- single wield clip couldnt kill a man, dual wield wasn't even worth the effort.

15. Plasma rifle- didn't even slow down players getting hit.

16. Plasma Pistol- aside from the fact that it homed on targets significantly more, but it also was near impossible to kill someone by firing simple shots.

17. No Fall Damage- that's bungie admmitting that the newcommers they had in mind for h2 were infact retarded, and could not handle themselves in "high" situations. Also helped people in super bouncing.

18. FOV - Field of Vision/View- H1 was roughly 90 degrees, h2 was around 60 I believe.. With that said, you were blind as a bat in comparison.

19. Warthog- What.. The.. Hell.. It's a damn warthog! Why the hell should it get blown up in 2 grenades, let alone any other semi-heavy vehical is beyond me.

20. The players- Halo2 introduced a breed of arrogant, ignorant, fragile X players. I hate them, have no respect for them, may all the bad things in the world happen to them and only them. You dont know how easy you got it, you didn't even have to earn your stripes, shame on you for existing.



Now to be fair I will try and list what I find good about Halo 2..

1. Xboxlive Compatible- I can vs people who have only played h2 and never h1 and be able to hear all the cliche insults that they pass around like a contageous cancer? AWESOME!

2. Better ghost/banshee- I can splatter stuff.. or be a typical douche and drive my ghost backwards while shooting at a player whose on foot.

That's all I got, I tried!
ok if you complain that h2 is so easy why are you complaing that you have less range off view, wouldnt that make it hard for you to see someone coming up on your side and shorter grenade throws? how does that make h2 less easier wouldnt it make it hard yeah i hate the lunges and the auto aim bu live with it or dony play it

scorpion has a really good point, but trawma, the levels should be balanced but not balanced easily, each side should have advantages and a disadvantages not jus hvin tha same thing on each side, but i mean if u were in war, tha other side isnt going to have the same battle station you do, maybe pretty close wit some difrent disadvantages and what not
