None of your links are reputable. None of them show facts. They are quotes. Great. Quotes.

Seriously if you are not ready for a serious, fact based debate, stay out of this thread. If you have specific questions about evolution, post. If you don't. Stay in the religion section. Go pick up any textbook, any scientific journal, or whatever and actually start studying something. You are wasting my time. This thread has nothing to do with religion.

Until you actually read something that is by someone with an ounce of knowledge about the subject, I am not going reply to you again. Post all you want but keep tabloid sites out of my thread.

How do you believe the universe was formed, and what do you believe caused the big bang?

Evolution has nothing to do with the start of the universe.

But if you are asking me I have two theories that I like right now.

1. Big Bang obviously by far has the best evidence for it.
2. Spores carried on an asteroid of some sort. Not that much evidence for it but I just like the sci fi feel it has.

Still ranting about your spore theory, that is the type of answer I would expect from a Trekkie.

If I was a trekkie, I would be ranting about tribbles

If you are talking about the origin of life, it doesn't consider that.

Evolution is the changes in life since it existed. The earliest evidence we have for life is early bacteria. Very simple microbes.

Thanks. I understand that it does not consider that. So then ,where do you believe these simple microbes came from? Surely, they must have come from somewhere, right?

What scientific theory, then, explains the beginning of living things' existence?(since the evolution theory ONLY explains changes in living things and the big bang theory ONLY explains the origin of the solar system)

There are two that I like. I have mentioned them before:

1. Energy from the sun allowed for the organization of inorganic molecules to for reproducing molecules (i.e. living molecules) This has been reproduced in experiments.

2. Spores from an asteroid landed on earth and viola! Life.

The first has descent info backing it up. The second not so much. But I like it all the same. Very science fiction like, even though it sounds like it is from a movie it is very probable.
