The Supreme Court f..ked up when they said women "at risk" could get an abortion, this is a very general statement. It's wrong to kill humans and the embryo or whatever you want to call it is human. It won't grow up to be a tree or a dog, it will develop into a human being. By saying it's ok to kill a human in one stage endangers the rights of other humans in other stages. What's next? Ok to "abort" the elderly? The poor? The stupid? We all know how the holocaust turned out.

How does a zygote have rights? Is a zygote conscious? Can it make decisions? Does it even have a brain? Does it have any physical or non-physical traits at all that Resembles a Human?

The "potential" of a human is a poor argument. All it means that it is a potential human, therefore...? You need to add another step to the argument, which you don't have.

It isn't potentially a human. It is a human. The egg and sperm come together to form a human embryo, not a chicken embryo. Every human in America has a right, taken away the rights of the youngest opens up the possibility to take away the right of other age groups.

So just because you are aware of these cells, etc. you can keep your life? What about those injured in car accidents and are in a coma? They aren't conscious, nor are they aware. What about mentally retarded people? Are they aware? Just because someone is not conscious does not mean they don't have the right to live.
