| | Wrong. My cousin is a Seargent in the Army and he's told me personally that the people of Iraq love them and that they are praised by the people wherever they go. The politicians want us gone, not the people. Quote:
There is always a motive for actions such as 9/11, but think about what you are saying before you just type up some stupidity like that. Just because there was a motive, DOES NOT JUSTIFY IT. The group of TERRORISTS (because that is what they were) is a group of people that are out to completely destroy those with different views from their own. In the case of 9/11, it meant the deaths of thousands of INNOCENT men, women, and children. Give me one motive that JUSTIFIES that.

No. But the other guy said they would attack us for no reason. Which is wrong. But ultimately, if you look at the time line, the US government brought this onto themselves. None of these countries in the Middle East were going in the direction they are now. Nearly all these countries were going towards nationalism. However the US couldn't have that. If these countries were to become more democratic and independent, they would take some of their oil for themselves. That's why the US over threw many of these governments. Iran is a perfect example: Now what happened was simple. When you took these people's governments, they resorted to their religion in their desperation. And now all of a sudden you have radical leaders coming into power. The US became their scape goat. To say they attacked the US because "they hate our freedoms" or any other bullsh.t like that is idiotic. The US created serious turmoil in the Middle East, and now it has come to bite them in the ass.

| | Oh you're absolutely right! Because asking someone if they thought Al-Qaeda attacked the US without justification automatically means I thought 9/11 was ok! You're a f..king genius. In their eyes they completely thought it was justified. That justification doesn't have to be valid at all; but it was (for them) justification. Next time actually read the post. And way to ignore the rest of my post buddy.

I didn't say I thought it was justified, I said that the guys who did believed it was justified (there was a clear motive behind it). They didn't just randomly attack for no reason (or because "they hate our freedoms"). You said there was no justification, but there was, the justification was not valid, but there was a justification. When someone says there was a justification, that doesn't mean that it was a valid one. Next time don't go crazy and try to actually understand what you read. In fact I'll summarize this whole case for you: 1. You said that the US was attacked without justification 2. I asked you if you really believed that they attacked without justification. I didn't say I thought the justification was valid or that I believed it. 3. northern jumped the gun and accused me of thinking the reasoning made 9/11 ok. 4. I said I didn't and gave info that shows why there is so much anti-US sentiment in the middle east. 5. Northern said that I did say it, and ignored the rest of my post. 6. I repeated that I didn't, and that just because there was a justification doesn't mean it was a valid one (Al-Qaeda believed it was valid). 7. northern just said I didn't make sense and gave up. 8. You apparently ignored everything and posted the same sh.t he did. I'll even give you a simple example: A kid punches his classmate in the face. The teacher asked him why he did it. The kid said it was because he didn't like the other kid. Now the kid had a justification of why he punched his classmate. Was the justification valid? No. So even though there was a justification (which the kid believed was right), it wasn't valid and therefore the action was not justified.
