I don't really care about same sex marriages, but two men adopting a kid would seriously cause problems for the kid as he grows up. I am against that.

I know it's subjective, but IMO, it would cause troubles like bullying, confusion, arguments as the kid gets older, and other small things like application form problems, unnatural upbringing (I think that there should be some form of motherly role; I don't think any kid should have a father as a single parent unless the mother is completely crazy or there is no other alternative)

I'm not saying all gay parents would be terrible parents, but I just don't think it'd work. My [single] mum and I were talking about this the other day.

I've seen a special on one of Rosie's lesbian cruises. I didn't see anything wrong with their children. The children did all have the same fear that they were scared that something would happens to their parents-- which can be stopped.

I don't see the difference from a lesbian couple and a heterosexual couple. They still love and parent the exact same.

I imagine lesbian parents wouldn't be bad, but the thought of two guys raising a child doesn't seem right (not in a homophobic sense). Also (this may be a very large generalization), from what I've seen, gay men tend to not stick with their partners for long at all.

Do you not want your brother to ever have a chance in being a parent-- or do you think he'll not be the same as a straight dad? I wouldn't want anyone adopting a kid unless their relationship was solid, gay or straight. I doubt any person would adopt a kid if they didn't know where their future was going.

I only know of one gay MAN (I know a lot of stupid boys), and he's been with his life partner for over 30+ years-- no children or adoptive children yet.
