Yeah, you shouldn't just cast away an issue that doesn't affect you so long as the government is still acting unjustly and beyond its power. If you did that for all issues you could have easily just 'not cared' when the government detained Japanese people during WWII just because it wouldn't have affected you.

I believe that nobody is telling people who they can and can't love, just who they can and can't marry. Homosexuals can marry in all states. That is an equal everyone has. The marriage just can't be guy+guy or girl+girl.

ha. I see what you did there. Aren't states not obligated to recognize gay marriages from other states by some act passed under the bush administration?

The government has no right to tell people who they can and cannot marry. I don't care how many times I have to state the truth, but that's how it goes.

I dont know, we had this big debate in CWI(Current world issues) class the other day, and my teacher said the Pledge of allegiance is being altered.
But now that I think about it, its the seperation of church and STATE, so I was wrong.
Still, gay marriage should be allowed.
