I knew this was bullsh.t as soon as I got to the part about running into Best Buy.

Seriously - You work for Best Buy. A co worker has noticed that two kids have just run into the store entrance at top speed, out of breath, and happen to be carrying a big black bag.
They don't appear to be buying anything - Just kind of hanging out and, oh yeah, again, they have this black bag thing going on.

So you inform the assistant manager and store security about the two out-of-breath kids with the black bag.

The manager then informs you that it's not a big deal - After all, two kids hot-footing it into a Best Buy store, panting and gasping for air, carrying a black bag is perfectly normal and nothing out of the ordinary.
