Posts: 846   | I went on collegeboard.com and it gives info for two types of SAT tests. There is a reasoning and subject one. The reasoning one is most widely used but it seems most of the good colleges require you to take the subject tests as well. What bugs me is that I've never heard of the subject ones before. Did any of you guys take it?

Then there's the SAT II which are the subject tests out of 800 - they'll be on specific topics like Biology, Chemistry, US History, French, Spanish etc etc. I took three (Bio, US History, Math) and sent 2 to college. just check your college website, they'll usually say if they require it or if its optional. Hope this helps.
