Cool, I've been wanting to read a longer book. I don't have a lot of time dedicated to reading, but I'm gonna try designating one hour each day for "reading time."

Truthfully, some of them I haven't finished -- The Fountainhead, for example, is something I've never finished reading. I also haven't read much into my Aristotle book. I have some Chomsky books to read, but the more I read them the more I hate my country, so I'm gonna hold off on them.
Oh, I see.

Ill still get around sometime and ask for a few good ones.

It's worth noting that I'm not into many genres of literature. I don't like sci-fi, fantasy, horror, mystery, or Tom Clancy. I enjoy satires (especially), classic pieces of literature that have THEMES I can relate or grasp onto; I mostly enjoy a piece of work that stimulates my mind.

My mom took college courses in English lititure and some other classes.

Let me find some examples of the books that are in her room...

I like Shakespeare, for example. One of my favorite pieces of literature is Hesse's Siddhartha; my current favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut, and I don't expect that to change any time soon.

The Collected Longer Poems of Kenneth Rexroth
Omeros - Derek Walcott
The Esential Neruda; Selected Poems
Between the Acts - Virginia Woolf
Oscar and Lucinda - Peter Carey

Thats the few that were out. There are a ton on shelves... And that is a prime example of her reading selection.

I like books like:

Pandoras Star
Watership Down
Redveous (SP) with Rama

Those were just the books of the draw, but there are 400 others that arent.... I hate it too if that makes any difference whatsoever.
