Posts: 6,436 | Socom, I'm not sure if it has been answered yet, but here is a little description about the semicolon for you. It is used to connect two independent clauses. Independed clauses are sentences that can stand on their own. EX: This is a sentence; this is another one.See? Both of the sentences could stand on their own without the semicolon.
Making -
It's if you want to connect a related issue, or even contrast one. Semicolons are also used to seperate big lists. Locations, dates, times, etc. EX: Chris's birthday is September, 23; Mark's is November, 18; and mine is August, 26.Hope this clears it up for you.
