Posts: 11 | This is such a hypocritical thread. He rants on about grammar mistakes when he made one in his post. When he talks about the difference between "Its" and It's, he uses a , instead of a ;. Its features include feathers and wings, it's obviously a bird. There should be a semicolon instead of a comma after wings because it is linking two independent clauses of the same idea. If one were to say "it's obviously a bird" - well - what's obviously a bird? That clause could stand on its own and have a semicolon in front of it, but it wouldn't make much sense. I certainly wouldn't describe my thread as a rant either. Nowhere in it did I rant, it's more of a guide.
