Simple Things to cover:

These are pokemon with a different coat of color than a normal one of its species. They are extremely rare!!! If you have never ran into one in the wild, join the club! I am ashamed to admit i have never ran into one in the wild as of yet. One day it will happen and when that day comes i will be ready.

(*(Dynamic Values)*)

*Level*
This is the easiest, in my opinion, way to train your pokemon. Every pokemon has a set amount of experience it can take in till Level 100. It ranges in 6 different amounts between 600,000 and 1,640,000.

*Nature*
When you acquire a pokemon, Catch or Obtain, it will have a NATURE which can increase/decrease a stat in its self. In all, there are 25 natures. There are 5 Neutral Natures which will leave all stats without a Nature Increase/Decrease.

*Gender*
This is not really gonna help with your training, but it is something to fill that thing in between your ears with. All this means is what your pokemon's gender is. Mirage Island Pokemon = 0. Male Pokemon = 1-127. Female Pokemon = 128-256.

*Effort Values*
Well EV = Effort Value

EV's increase your stats. There are EV's for every stat. Rattata's = Speed EV, Bidoof's = HP EV, etc. For every 4 EV's you gain +1 in that specific stat.

In every battle you go into you gain an "EV", maybe even 2 or 3 or multiple different EV's. So if you want your Speed to be up'd then you'll want to battle sometihng that is good in "Speed".

Pidgey = Speed
Machop = Attack
Kakuna = Defense
Bidoof = HP
Abra = Special Attack
Eevee = Special Defense

So basically to raise a stat with EV's, just go battle a pokemon that is high in that stat. Simple like that.

*Individual Values*
This is the values that will differentiate pokemon all around. Try catching 2 Pidgey's with the same Gender, Level, and Nature and you will still notice a difference in their stats. This ranges from 1 to 31 of a bonus on a pokemon stats. It is known that a Breeded pokemon will have BETTER IV's then a wild one.

i could help you out only up to ruby/sapphire versions my friend and i have come across a shiny kyogre and a shiny wurmple too.

thank you for the offer, but if you cant help with at least a whole Generation(Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald = 3rd Generation) than i would rather not put you on the board.

no, i havnt touched emerald at all, but played ruby alot, reciently getting back into it, ill help where i can.

Couple quick questions(All Fire Red related)
-How many times can you face the Elite four?
-Is the second generation the on the 7 islands?
-Whats the easiest way to lvl up pokemon, in other words wheres the highest level pokemon?
-What are my chances of filling my pokedex, and what happens if I do?
