I wanted to get one myself, but they were all too old to be trusted, so i stayed with the hatchback style and got a 2000 Ford Focus Zx3, couldn't be happier with it.

I'm having the windows tinted tomor.... er... this morning.. lol

And I just got 2 12" Q power subs with a 2200 watt spl amp, those b..ches kick

Too old to be trusted? If its one thing special about Honda's, its their lifespan.

Good luck affording a BMW that doesn't have 100,000 miles on it.

They're actually not expensive as you would think. But I think for the price you could definitely get something a lot better.

Yeah, they aren't that bad for a 10 year old car with 100,000 miles on them. If you consider the 8-10,000 range not that bad. You could get tons of cars for the same price with half the mileage.

I paid 400 for the box, subs, and amp... If you want a good deal on price and just get good low end sound instead of neighbor-waking bass, go to your local flea market or car audio store and ask for a good pair of 12" subs, and for the amp, I recommend a 2-channel pioneer 600watt max amp, it'll give you a good kick, but it won't implode your eardrums on you lol.

Also, do you already have an aftermarket stereo head unit?

It's alot safer to buy new, because used can mess up on you really quickly, my first sub, a 12" sony xplod was used, and the second i turned up the volume it just started rattling all over the place, Kicker makes great subs, Q power subs are nice from what i know by experience, and Punch makes good ones too, Type R is another good name brand... theres alot, just don't go with Boss or off name brands
