Well, I am looking into a new bike.
I need some opinions
Yamaha, Suzuki, or Honda? First off.
I am looking towards yama, but brand new they're a whopping 7k. If I can get one used on ebay, I can get one for about 2500-3000.

Now, I dunno what to do.
I may be able to talk to my friends dad about getting one of his hondas... But they are not the correct CC I want, but it would be a bike to have.
Oh jeez, I dunno what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like 250 2 t or a 450f
I prefer yamaha, but I will ride anything recommend that's close in the specs of the Yamahas.
COLORS DO NOT MATTER
This is all based on performance.

P.S: I am 6'4 240ish...

Any finds, help, tips, whatever, I would greatly appreciate it
Sorry for the jumbled thread, I haven't had much sleep in 24 hours..
edit. Wow, in my sleep deprivation I forgot to mention this is for a MOTO X BIKE

Seems like you would already know what to do judging from other post, but doesn't Suzuki and Kawasaki make the best bikes performance wise?

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa
Sorry.
I am tired... but what are you stating?
Off-road <Moto X> or Street Bikes?

Yamaha has really stepped up their game in the moto x.
Suzuki is doing really well and Ricky Carmicheal road Suzuki and he was an absolute beast. Kawasaki absolutely blows imo.. They don't win nor do their bikes really stand up to par with other ones.

And to be honest, I am a hardcore bike junky. I know a lot about them and I follow a lot about them, but the last thing I rode was like a 1994 yamaha v-star or something along those lines.
Slow, loud, annoying and not an off - road bike :P
But I feel good knowing that I look like I at least know something about bikes

P.S: With street bikes:
Yamaha has just made the all new R6 which is the first 600 sports bike to hit 180+
Kawasaki has dropped to like 7th overall in the motogp standings.
Honda is upgrading their 600cc massively and coming out with the prototype of a 250cc street bike
Yamaha is also coming out with a 250cc street bike which would own any 250cc street bike on the market atm, besides MAYBE Aprilla.
Suzuki is ALSO making a 250cc street bike, but it doesn't look like its advancing that much, as of now they have a design, but no actual performance. Where as Yamaha and Honda have both design and performance, and Honda has the upper-hand, having 250cc street bikes before

Also, every year there is a test on the top street bikes.
Last year
1. Honda
2. Yamaha
3. Suzuki
4. Kawasaki
Its a track test, 4 professional riders, 4 top brand racing machines.
This year
1. Yamaha
2. Honda
3. Suzuki
4. Kawasaki
Also; the 125cc yamaha got a rating of 42/50 all around, where as the new aprilla and the kawasaki got a 41/50
Thats a BIGGGG deal...

Sorry if I sound cocky or put down Kawasaki, but honestly. Its all in the facts, and I wont deny that they have the nicest looking bikes, but they put it all into looks and nothing into performance.

Sory for rambled post, I am on like 6 hours of sleep LOL

The only bikes I roll on are Mountain.

Too many deaths from the street bike for me. Hell, any motorbike there has been an immense amount of deaths caused from it. Except for Dirtbiking, just a little bit of deaths, compared to the rest of the biking of course. So yeah, Mountain Bikes FTW.

I was referring to motocross bikes, it seems that ever since I was a kid though I've always heard Suzuki made the best bike performance wise and Kawasaki was right behind them, I've never heard much from Honda in the motocross world, only off-road. I don't keep up with any of the professionals though. Unless you plan on racing just go with whatever, its not gonna matter too much. I'd personally rather have a smallish off-road bike than a motocross bike. If I bought a new bike ever it would probably be a CRF230.

Ah okay
Yeah, I have heard that Suzuki is good in OFF ROAD. That's stunting, like back flips and shiat :P
And they were especially UP in the rankings because Ricky Carmicheal rode for Suzuki. I really like to keep up with professionals, if they are riding good bikes or bad bikes, they tend to let viewers and fans know.
Define racing? Do you mean Track? Drags<dirt drags>, etc?
I am really gonna be learning in an open field, but after I learn to handle whatever size bike I get and get shifting just perfect on it and regain throttle control I will be racing friends
And I understand you want a CRF230, but I want speed and power. I think the CRF230<Not being a 250> is an off-road bike, so its lighter, but less power, therefore you can do more stunts, like backflips, front flips, etc.

TM22, I understand that. But I am not a retard, I am not going to get on a 450F and just wham the throttle back as hard as I can. And I will NEVER and lemme repeat that NEVER GO RIDING WITHOUT A HELMET. EVER.

@ Sparks; Whats the problem, man? Ever since I started talking more about bikes on here you jump on my nuts if I ask for help. Just because I know some stuff about Street Bikes, doesn't mean I know a lot about Motocross/off-road bikes <Whatever YOU want to call it>.
I haven't made up a choice. I don't know what to get, I really would want a yamaha, but I don't have 7,000-8,000 thousand $$$ to pull out of my ass and spend on a bike
Sorry, but I still do need help deciding and picking and figuring it all out.

Well whether you have road a bike before or not you never know what you are getting yourself into. My uncle had road bikes all throughout his childhood and he told me every time he got on his 500 he got hurt.

Have you ever even rode a dirt bike? Wrecking is no fun as it is, especially when it hurts.
