Well, of course every day we run into total idiots as drivers and sometimes need to vent. So this thread is for everyone that either, was in a crash, perhaps had a interesting race(Eh) or was cut off by the lactating mom on the phone with 5 kids in the back.

Just to start off with the stories, I passed someone yesterday in a legal passing zone...he was going around 15 under. It was a truck with a trailer on the back, I didn't get mad at him, but I simply wanted to get past him, because obviously he's going to be going alot slower. So I pass him and around a mile and a half down the road hit a red light. I'm sitting at the red light and this same guy in the truck pulls up besides me and starts spitting on my hood. I didn't notice it at first, just wanted to ignore him because I figured his ego would be a little damaged from passing him. So I look over and what is he doing, besides spitting on my hood, writing down my license plate. Now someone please tell me what the point of that is? Is he going to call the state police?
"Yes, I'd like to report someone passing me legally..."

Ideas as to why someone would do that?

wow if anyone spit on the hood of my car i would f..king kill them, i dont know how you just sat there and took it though.

cool race story though, i was sitting at a red light and glimpsed out my passenger mirror and saw a red car coming up next to me. i did a double take and it happened to be a ferrari, i believe a 360 modena. i throw a few revs at him as a joke and he looks over and we both just laugh a bit. then the light turns green and i take off and a split second later i hear him gun it and he just blows past me like it was nothing. it was the most amazing sound i have ever heard.

Today i was driving on a 2 lane street and someone in the distance was coming down my lane and I was thinking he's probably in a turning lane or something. 5 seconds later I realise I'm about to hit him head on at 50 mph so I break and turn into a street. Idiot was trying to pass like 3-4 cars.

To quote the first part...I'm not really sure..I just felt very calm, because I knew he was angry only because he had a ridiculous ego....and it just didn't make me bad. I was really pissed, I'm just not one to get out of my car and fight someone. Road rage is a problem in my family..so I try to stay away from it. The guy made himself look like an idiot for 2 of my friends. So we laughed.


Also, I don't own a new mustang, just a 98 Integra. I love it...but I'm not too worried if some inbred spits on it



To poopybrain: Thats a pretty crazy story. I don't know if you were trying to rationalize the person in my story's anger, but I made sure no one was coming. I don't think you were but just to clarify. I would have been scared sh.tless to if I saw that haha.

And that was a pretty funny story..spitting on someones car is idiotic...but those guys were probably somewhat jealous of your car.

I had a fun little run in with a 99-04 Mustang GT last night. I was on a 4 lane wide road that's straight for a good 4 miles and only got one run with him. He had his girl in the car, I guess the first little race was all he wanted.
