I really hope I'm wrong about you.

are you kidding me.. just because someone has a motorcycle and goes fast sometimes dont mean there going to die. I am a very careful driver man, i have had my license now for 5 years now and i have never been in a accident and i have never even had a speeding ticket! my brother on the other hand he got caught drag racing a few weeks after he got his license "he could of lost his license but the cop was nice and just gave him a $150 ticket. And when i ride my ninja im extra careful looking everywhere on what people are doing. And when i accelerate or go fast i make sure its on a country road where there is no cars on the street hardly. Believe me man im a smart driver. And yes this is my first sportbike.... so? When i was 15 i got a dirtbike and i know how to handle "motor bikes" i out grew the dirtbike so my dad sold it last year and so i moved up to a sportbike, something i always wanted. And dude i didnt get something i couldnt handle, i didnt buy a 1400cc ninja that could be super dangerous. A 600cc is a perfect size for me. And about my gear... dude have you ever realized the stupid harley guys "they never wear helmets" and i always wear my helmet. If i go down someday, i guess i will take the pain of road rash im not afraid of pain. Anyway i dont have the money for stupid gear. I have more common sense then you think man

wow sparks calm down.

The only thing you need to worry about is other people on the road. A 600 is perfect to start out on.

I've been hurt worse crashing my bicycle, than falling at 130 turn 3 PIR. Granted I had leathers (a good investment), you can get killed doing anything.

Exactly. To have fun in life sometimes you have to take risks or chances. You cant be a p.ssy and not try anything new. heh

Then props to you man. I see so many people that go about it the wrong way..I've had FRIENDS that have died. So Tsunami, please don't tell me to calm down. I didn't flame, I just hoped that he was not hte example I was speaking of. And it seems I was wrong which I am glad about.

I respected you because I knew of your experience and interest in sportbikes. But, to say don't live your life like a p.ssy? Really? Adrenaline Junky? I don't listen to that sh.t, and you can't say anything I said wasn't constructive. Its not my life agreed, but if there are enough of these idiots crashing, yours and mine insurance rates will rise. Thats just common sense. Gear is also common sense. Road rash can be a small thing, granted. But if you go down at a fast enough speed you'll be looking at possible skin grafts. And even minor road rash is a major b..ch and you don't need it. Not to mention fixing sportbikes these days isn't cheap sh.t. I'm the logical one here, obviously.

I dunno why you feel the need to jump down his throat like his mommy cause he has a sport bike... it looks rather childish if you ask me. And if you loose respect for me because I speak my mind, I think that says more about you than me.

Obviously I would suggest he take is bike out to a track to go fast, I would never in a million years street ride... The other cars are too dangerous, and that is what is gonna get you in trouble.

My point was if you live your life scared of dying all the time are you really living? Some people are content w/ the norm, others seek and need those thrills. Enjoy life while your young...

All you have to do is tape up your mirrors get some cheap leathers and you can go run as fast as you want (which wont' be very fast) at your local track w/ no danger. It seems to me this dude is responsible, I just didn't understand your condemnations.

I never said that he was what I was making an example of. I was just repeating what I have seen many a times. It never ends well. But he's obviously not the example....so whats the problem? There is no problem, problem solved.

My friend just turned 18 and bought a Ninja 09 and they arent even out on the floor yet. Its the first thing he has bought in his name and he is living by himself and only has 7 dollars until next thursday lol.

TsUnAmI where can i find a track for motorcycles around indiana? i think indianapolis might have a track but im not sure. and how much does it usually cost? I def. plan on going to the drags this summer though, so im looking forward to that. but if i found a track that would be a blast too
