1) Why don't you just buy new calipers?

2) Why didn't you replace all hoses and belts on install?

3) Make sure you replace the body mounts. Otherwise any suspension upgrade you make will be pointless. (Well, depending if your mounts were as worn as mine.)

Ended up having to replace one caliper in the end but the only problem with the other was a bad o-ring on the piston.

Before I bought the motor I inspected it thoroughly. Belts and hoses are all fine. Only had one with a small hole in it, fixed easily. As for the power steering, the clamp simply wasn't tight enough.

Body mounts were fine.


I haven't given an update on this for a while but I've done some major stuff.

First boost and oil pressure gauges now installed:

So a couple of people have asked me for an update on my 240....so here it is it was wrecked about a week ago. As you can see the damage was pretty bad but not unfixable:









If that wasn't bad enough upon driving the car from the scene back to my house it was pouring black smoke and wouldn't rev past 3k. I figured I was running really rich due to a vacuum leak and I was right, I took off my intercooler and found there was a gash in it from where it was pushed up against the frame.




So I welded my intercooler and vallah my engine is running fine now:

I've been running around the past couple days picking up parts from my friends and a few shops and here is what I've gotten so far. A new fender, hood, light, pulled out and fixed my bumper, and will be going today to cut out a radiator support so I can weld it on my car and correctly re-align everything. Here's some pics:

Well I wrecked because some d-bag cut off the guy in front off me and so the guy in front of me PULLED HIS EBRAKE, and I ran into his back end. Could have just braked lol, but anyways got my rims today here's some pics. Had to roll the fenders to keep them from rubbing.:
