well, i know a lot of people here probably don't even have their license yet, but im also pretty sure that there are a fair amount of people that do. anyway, i was just curious on how many people here street race. if you do, im just kinda curious on what kinda racing you do (drag, canyon, etc.) also if you think its stupid and endangers other people as well as yourself feel free to discuss that here as well. oh yeah and also if you do please say what kind of car as well as to how.

I've street raced before. I use to race my Lexus IS300. My brother still races his 350z sometimes.

I live in North Carolina...and yeah where I live there isn't many people..at all. But if I'm going to race I always make sure no other cars are around. I've never did it in the middle of traffic on the highway or something stupid.

I just got my z06 vette and havent raced it yet. Not sure if I really want to or not. Even if I did I would lose to a crappy car right now, ha. Just learned how to drive a stick last Saturday. I could most likely win from a roll but I just can't get off fast enough, I don't know how, ha.

My friends sometimes go to this 1/8th mile place near by. I might start going there soon if I wanna race.

yeah, racing should be kept on the track. but some people dont live anywhere near one and/or just get caught up in it spontaneously on the spot such as if they're driving on the highway or something and some car pulls up along side them and starts provoking. i dont race myself, havent ever gotten a speeding ticket. but yeah, auto Xing is fun.

yea, my neighbor races his 350z..its nice as hell.. but yea leave it to the track. some kid in my school wrecked and if it wasn't for the kid he was racing he would've laid there and bled to death.

Some kids around here raced... and then someone actually had the nerve to ask me to race them.

I drive a supped up 1976 Pontiac Firebird btw... needless to say, I owned him.

06 Eclipse - won
Lexus gs400 - lost

All the races were from a stop or a roll, and were not weaving in and out of traffic they were pretty much either no on e on the road or late at night where it wouldnt endanger other drivers.

If you do feel motivated to race, do not have people in the car...and I hope you make it through your "invincible" years. I got through mine and now realize how dumb the stuff I did was...but it was fun at the time, just use caution...well as much as you can.
