Wow - I sent an email to Canon Support and they sent me a shipping label - they are going to fix it free of charge even though this camera is 3 years old.

Canon just freakin rocks. It broke my heart that my old A70 failed. Even though it's only 3.1 megapixels - it takes some really gorgeous pictures. My g/f has a Sony camrea and an HP Photsmart - both are 5-7 megapixels but the images turn out boring, flat, and, well, just plain blah.

Uh oh - Crest is getting grumpy again. Here ya go, my young friend.
Stare at this mag cover for a few seconds and chill.
