Not all of them. My brother said the children and mothers over there were very thankful (he never saw any fathers) and they would always run along the humvees when they were on patrol and say thank you. I've heard similar stories from some of his friends that were in baghdad.
I'm mixed on what to do though. I want us gone but I've seen pictures of how some of them live from my brother. He showed me a family (3 little kids, infant, and mother) that lived off a broken sewage line and beg the soldiers for food-- forgot to mention that they live in a tent among other families. It's depressing to see. I still question why we haven't trained the iraqi soldiers so far. Our boys go through a few months of training and they're sent to Iraq. The military needs to get it's sh.t together or pull out.
