1. It doesn't matter if any of the cells are conscious or not. Every inch of those cells are alive, and sense they work together to make one, larger unit, that unit is also alive.

opinion doesn't necessarily disprove anything. I'm not arguing, but the number two should have been separate from your post directed towards me.

Well, seeing as Earth is coming up on it's 5
billion year anniversary, I would have thought that it would be a safe bet to assume that there were "at least" a trillion once born organisms. Do you disagree, or should we enter an argument were neither can prove the other wrong, due to lack of ourselves existing so long.
