I actually remember one time when i was around 12 my mother took me and my brother to a creation seminar at my church. The seminar was being taught by a guy who was not affiliated to my church. The seminar was an attempt to explain to us that when god said he made everything in 7 days he literally ment 7 days. The guy kept saying if it is written that it was done in 7 days then it obviously is 7 days. All i could think about was how stupid that idea is. The bible is not ment to be taken literally all the time.

There are a lot of outspoken, uneducated, ignorant christians out there who make it so much harder on the ones who actually take the time educate themselves. They just need to shut up.

Edit- But remember people that just like there are stupid creationist there are stupid atheist as well.
