Alas, that brings up a question. Why are there fallen angels? They rationally cant exist. The next part is a copy and paste from something I posted in a different thread
Lucifer knew he couldn't be higher than God. He knew he couldn't be like God. There would be nothing to motivate him to even try. Pride? under the incredible awe of God could not possibly exist. It adds more silliness to think that 1/3 of the angels followed him. That means they would have no fear of God. They must have been created incredibly ignorant or stupid in which case they shouldn't be accountable or subject to punishment.
Random thought: It's okay to be angry. It's a sin to hold a grudge. If humans go to hell for eternity isn't that kind of like a God holding a grudge.
