Halo 1 used to be played before Halo 2 came out at MLG Events, but once Halo 2 came out they stopped. Then they still played Halo 1 annually at MLG Philly, that was the only event that had Halo 1 even though Halo 2 was out. Once they couldn't find a venue for MLG Philly during the '06 season they didn't have Halo 1 at any other events. And that is the tragic story of how Halo 1 was not played at anymore MLG Events.
